Mahindra Launches BE 6 Formula E Edition in India

Bengaluru- Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., has officially launched the BE 6 Formula E Edition, bringing the electric thrill of global Formula E racing to Indian roads. As India’s motorsport culture accelerates with race nights, college clubs and growing fan communities, Mahindra has introduced a special edition eSUV that connects directly to this new energy.

The BE 6 Formula E Edition builds on Mahindra’s legacy as India’s earliest motorsport pioneer and the only Indian team to win on the Formula E grid. With a bold new design, aggressive aerodynamics and unmistakable racing-inspired details, the SUV delivers a street-ready interpretation of Formula E attitude. Signature orange accents, R20 alloy wheels, FIA branding, and 12-stripe graphics make the BE 6 instantly recognizable.

Inside, the cabin transforms into a motorsport-inspired cockpit with Firestorm Orange elements, Formula E branding, a race-style start/stop flap, custom startup animations and virtual engine sounds. The SUV’s 79 kWh battery powers a 210 kW motor that launches from 0–100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and offers a 500 km real-world range, blending everyday usability with race-bred acceleration.

At launch, Mahindra also introduced Bengaluru-born Formula 2 race winner and Mahindra Formula E team member Kush Maini as the face of the BE 6 Formula E Edition, reflecting the SUV’s spirit of youthful ambition and authentic racing credibility. To spark passion early, Mahindra unveiled the BE 6 Formula E Ride-On — a mini electric toddler car arriving in April 2026.

Positioned as a collectible, the first 999 customers will receive exclusive launch benefits including a track-day experience with Kush Maini, racing memorabilia, personalized decals, and their name featured on the Mahindra Racing car at the London E-Prix. Three lucky buyers will win an all-access London E-Prix experience in August 2026.
