The company has opened a new plant in Badhalwadi, Maharashtra, and started building another in Kharkhoda, Haryana. These sites will boost production of exterior and energy storage systems.
As India’s auto industry grows by about 5% a year, OPmobility already equips one in every three vehicles in the country. The Badhalwadi plant is the first in India to make both exterior and energy systems in one location, while the Kharkhoda plant will begin operations in early 2026.

Committed to sustainability, OPmobility’s Badhalwadi plant uses solar power for 35% of its energy and employs many women. The company also supports the Navlakh Umbre village school with new facilities and digital tools.
With these initiatives, OPmobility aims to strengthen its role as a leader in smart, clean, and sustainable mobility in India and beyond.
