New Delhi - Rolls-Royce India Pvt. Ltd., an industrial machinery manufacturer, has launched Ghost facelift in India with prices starting at ₹8.95 crore. Just two months after its global debut, the refreshed Ghost Series II is now available in Standard, Extended, and Black Badge variants.
The facelifted Rolls-Royce Ghost adopts a more angular design, similar to the Series II Cullinan. Up front, the lower grille area has been reduced, and the DRLs now wrap around the outer edges of the main projector lamps. At the rear, the updated Ghost sports a redesigned, banded tail-light setup. Buyers can choose between two 22-inch alloy wheel designs for added customization.
The facelifted Rolls-Royce Ghost introduces new interior material options, including Grey Stained Ash and Duality Twill. According to Rolls-Royce, the average Ghost buyer invests around 10% of the car’s retail price in customization. A fully customized Duality Twill interior requires approximately 20 hours to craft, featuring 2.2 million stitches and 17.7km of thread for a truly bespoke finish.
The facelifted Rolls-Royce Ghost features a new glass panel across the dashboard and updated digital instrument software that allows color-matching with the exterior. The upgraded connectivity system enables rear passengers to connect two streaming devices to their screens, and the rear infotainment can also pair with wireless headphones. The music system now includes a 1,400W amplifier, an upgrade from the previous 1,300W system.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost facelift retains the same 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 and 8-speed automatic gearbox as its predecessor. In the Standard and Extended versions, it produces 563hp and 850Nm, while the Black Badge delivers 592hp and 900Nm. The Black Badge also features improved brakes, reduced pedal travel, and a ‘Low’ drive mode with 50% quicker gear shifts when the throttle is 90% open.
