Ahmedabad- Samarth E-Mobility., has developed a full-stack electric vehicle technology platform designed and manufactured entirely in India. The company plans to launch its first premium electric motorcycle based on this platform in 2026.

The platform includes several key components developed in-house, such as the battery pack, battery management system (BMS), electric motor, motor controller, power control module, DC-DC converter, onboard fast charger, instrument cluster, and a proprietary operating system.

The battery pack has received homologation from National Automotive Test Tracks, while the BMS has been tested by the International Centre for Automotive Technology.

Mr. Priyank Rakholia, co-founder of Samarth E-Mobility, said, "that indigenous engineering and locally developed technology are important for India’s EV transition. He added that over the past three years, the company has developed its entire EV technology stack in-house, including the battery system, software architecture, motor, and power electronics."

The company said its technology has been tested on more than 51,000 km of real-world roads and 3,400 km of durability testing. Samarth E-Mobility operates an R&D center in Kalol and a manufacturing facility in Chhatral, with a production capacity of over 45,000 electric two-wheelers per month.
