Mumbai- Shuzlan Energy Private Limited., an EV charging infrastructure sector, has announced a partnership with Transvolt Mobility Private Limited. This collaboration to electrify public transportation began with the signing of an agreement to provide India’s EV Charging Point Operator (CPO) infrastructure for 1,000 buses. These EV chargers will be'strategically' positioned all over India, with the Mira Bhayander Depot of the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Transport (MBMT) serving as the initial hub. The region's lifeline for powering 57 public transportation buses is expected to be this center.
Within a year, 350 charging operators will get an installation consignment of EV charging stations, with numerous depots set up and all running on a fixed income basis. These charging choices are made to fulfill the rising demand for environmentally sustainable transportation options, making EV adoption easier and more practical. The best-in-class Charging Management System (CMS) technology from Shuzlan will be made available, which will significantly improve EV consumers' access to reliable charging.
Mr. Rohit Pandit, Managing Director & Chairman, Shuzlan Energy, said that, We are thrilled to team up with Transvolt Mobility to offer innovative EV charging options for 1,000 buses. This partnership fails to uphold our pledge to revolutionize electric mobility and make it affordable and effective. We expect our efforts will have a good effect on sustainable transportation, and we are prepared to achieve new industry records.
For plans to roll out thousands of electric buses in the upcoming year to proceed smoothly and on schedule, India's bus charging eco-system is a critical prerequisite. Many cities still do not have any infrastructure for bus charging, which usually necessitates much higher output points for fast charging. The majority of state governments include building charging infrastructure for EV buses in tenders for the buses themselves, highlighting the difficulty in the market.
