Rajasthan – Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE)., a tractor manufacturer, has inaugurated its new JFarm Rajasthan research and training centre at Bhawani Mandi on April 2, 2026, strengthening its commitment to improving farmer livelihoods and promoting modern agricultural practices.

The inauguration ceremony was led by T. R. Kesavan, while the centre was formally opened by Sandeep Sinha in the presence of local officials, dealers, and farmers. The new facility is designed to provide practical, hands-on learning for farmers and other stakeholders in the agricultural ecosystem.

JFarm Rajasthan features a Customer Experience Centre where farmers can explore tractors and farm implements in operation. It also includes a Product Training Centre aimed at equipping dealers, service personnel, and farmers with technical knowledge and skills. In addition, the Farmer Interaction Centre will serve as a platform for sharing simple and effective farming techniques, crop care guidance, and modern agricultural practices through live demonstrations and direct engagement.

The new centre is expected to benefit farmers across Rajasthan and nearby regions by promoting improved crop production, crop protection, post-harvest processing, and the use of farm mechanisation suited to Indian agricultural conditions. Through these initiatives, TAFE aims to help farmers enhance productivity while reducing manual effort.

TAFE’s JFarm initiative was first established in Chennai in 1964 to bridge the gap between farm needs and farm mechanisation. The Rajasthan facility is the third JFarm centre in India and forms part of the company’s broader social responsibility efforts.

Lakshmi Venu said the new centre will create opportunities for farmers to learn through demonstrations and field-based training, adding that the objective is to provide practical and accessible solutions that can help improve farming outcomes and increase farmer income.
