Bengaluru – TIL Limited., a heavy equipment manufacturer, showcased a major leap in indigenous engineering at EXCON 2025 with the launch of three new material-handling machines, reinforcing its focus on safety, advanced technology, and local manufacturing.

The spotlight was on the CarryKing 515, TIL’s new flagship pick-and-carry-on-deck crane designed for modern worksites. Powered by an Ashok Leyland engine delivering 130 HP, the crane offers a 15-tonne lifting capacity and a carry-on-deck feature capable of transporting up to six tonnes. With a four-section boom, 360° slew on tyres and outriggers, 4x4 drive, four-wheel steering, and a microprocessor-based monitoring system, the machine emphasizes safety and stability for heavy-load, industrial, and port operations.

TIL also made a strong comeback in the truck crane segment with the TMS-885, a truck-mounted crane with an 85-tonne lifting capacity, powered by a 260 HP Cummins engine. The five-section boom extends up to 43.8 metres, while the crane delivers a top speed of 49 km/hr, underlining TIL’s commitment to high-reliability machines backed by strong after-sales support.

Adding to its pioneering innovations, TIL unveiled the RT RST-8, touted as the world’s first rough-terrain empty-container reachstacker. Built for unpaved and uneven surfaces typical of mining, logistics, and industrial sites, it features an 8-tonne lifting capacity, 173 HP engine, 4x4 drive, four-wheel steering, and a maximum lifting height of 12.6 metres. The machine addresses a critical domestic gap where global models struggle on challenging terrain and opens opportunities for export to similar markets.

Mr. Sunil Kumar Chaturvedi, TIL Chairman and Managing Director, said, “The response to the CarryKing 515 shows that the market is ready for equipment that does not compromise on safety.”

The launch of the CarryKing 515, TMS-885, and RT RST-8 signals TIL’s strengthened commitment to indigenous technology, safety, and versatile solutions for India’s growing infrastructure and industrial needs.
