Westwell launched its electric, autonomous-ready E-Truck S2 and showcased the Q-Truck at TOC Europe 2025, highlighting AI-driven, sustainable port logistics solutions.
Date: June 23, 2025

Shanghai, China- Westwell Information Technology Co. Ltd., an autonomous driving and AI logistics, made a significant impact at TOC Europe 2025 (June 17–19), unveiling its next-generation E-Truck S2 and exhibiting its widely adopted Q-Truck, under the banner “AI YOUR LOGISTICS.” The company highlighted its end-to-end smart logistics solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, sustainability, and automation in port environments.
The all-new E-Truck S2 is a fully electric, autonomous-ready heavy-duty truck developed entirely in-house by Westwell. Building on the success of the E-Truck S1—deployed at key global ports including Laem Chabang (Thailand), Chancay (Peru), and Karachi (Pakistan)—the S2 delivers major upgrades in comfort, reliability, and performance.
Designed to tackle legacy issues such as excessive noise, vibration, and emissions, the S2 incorporates new operator-focused features like an air-ride seat and high-capacity overhead air conditioning for superior cabin comfort. Its transmission-free architecture and centralized lubrication system significantly reduce mechanical complexity and maintenance costs.
At the heart of the S2 lies Westwell’s proprietary AI-VCU (Vehicle Control Unit), leveraging advanced multi-modal AI to dynamically adapt to conditions in real time 1enhancing energy efficiency, extending component life, and optimizing performance mile after mile.
- Wheel-side reduction axle with air suspension and V-type thrust rod for smoother cargo transport and 25% better roll stability.
- Dual-action hydraulic lift system with PTO for faster container handling.
- Spacious ergonomic cab (1540×1550×1750mm) for improved driver experience.
- High-capacity LFP battery options (282kWh or 310kWh) delivering over 16 hours of operation on a single charge.
The E-Truck S2 is built on Westwell’s next-gen steer-by-wire 2.0 chassis, shared with its autonomous Qomolo series making it ready for full driverless deployment in future logistics networks.
Reinforcing its “Ainergy Strategy” the fusion of AI and energy Westwell also launched ReeWell, an AI-powered logistics coordination platform. ReeWell shifts the logistics paradigm from siloed automation to intelligent orchestration, enabling seamless, system-wide coordination with real-time AI-driven insights and decision-making.
Also featured was Westwell’s flagship Q-Truck, a fully autonomous, commercially deployed vehicle that’s redefining how ports operate. It is equipped with a multi-task, multi-view sensing system that combines front fusion sensors, Bird’s Eye View (BEV), and a Transformer-based decision engine setting new benchmarks in navigation accuracy and environmental perception.
Already operational 24/7 at ports such as Felixstowe (UK) and with a fleet of 12 Q-Trucks supporting autonomous operations at CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal, the Q-Truck exemplifies Westwell’s ability to scale AI-powered logistics globally with consistency and safety.
Mr. Zhang Rong, Westwell President, said, "The future of logistics is smart, sustainable, and collaborative. AI is rearchitecting logistics infrastructure, and environmental responsibility is no longer optional. Across seaports, airports, and freight networks, we're seeing the rise of self-optimizing, sustainable systems that are reshaping the global supply chain."
