Friedrichshafen, Germany- ZF’s division Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS) division will showcase its newest technologies for safer, smarter, and zero-emission passenger transport at the Bus2Bus trade fair in Berlin on April 15–16, 2026.

One of the key highlights will be ZF’s newly introduced driveline condition monitoring and predictive maintenance software. Designed for the company’s latest electric portal axle, the AxTrax 2 LF, the solution uses e-drive data to assess system health for fleets and vehicle manufacturers. By identifying potential issues early, it helps improve vehicle uptime, reduce unexpected breakdowns, and lower total operating costs.

ZF will also present its CeTrax 2 dual electric central drive, developed for intercity buses and coaches. With continuous power output of up to 380 kW and efficiency of at least 94.5%, the system is built to handle demanding long-distance operations while delivering strong performance and energy efficiency.

In addition, the company will display its next-generation rear-driven axle, the A134. Engineered for the higher weight and torque requirements of future conventional and electrified vehicle platforms, the axle offers lower weight, better recuperation capability, and compatibility with existing installation points. This supports improved efficiency, enhanced energy recovery, and easier integration for manufacturers.
