New Delhi - BMW Motorrad., a premium motorcycles manufacturer, has unveiled the latest F450 GS Concept and the BMW S 1000 RR at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The recently updated S 1000 RR features revised bodywork along with other enhancements.
The BMW F450 GS Concept is powered by a newly developed 450cc twin-cylinder engine, built entirely from scratch. Delivering approximately 48bhp, the engine is tuned for strong low-end performance. BMW highlights the engine's compact dimensions and lightweight design, achieved through the use of lightweight materials such as magnesium.
The BMW F450 GS Concept features a chassis developed entirely from the ground up, designed for exceptional agility both on and off the road. It comes equipped with a fully adjustable USD front suspension and a rear shock absorber with load-dependent damping. With a kerb weight of just 175kg, the concept boasts an impressive power-to-weight ratio. True to BMW standards, it offers premium features such as lean-sensitive ABS, configurable riding modes, and a 6.5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.
The BMW S 1000 RR boasts a sharper appearance, particularly from the front, featuring a larger winglet compared to the outgoing model. These updated winglets generate increased downforce for improved performance. Design elements such as the gills on the side fairing, the contoured fuel tank, and the upswept tail section are crafted with precision and elegance.
The BMW S 1000 RR is powered by a 999cc inline-four engine, delivering an impressive 206.51bhp and 113Nm of torque. This powerhouse is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter for seamless gear changes. Like modern superbikes, the S 1000 RR comes packed with advanced features, including four riding modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race), traction control, hill start control, launch control, a pit lane limiter, and more.
