      Chartered Speed rolls out 11 e-buses for DCM Shriram

      Gujarat- Chartered Speed Limited., has deployed 11 electric buses for staff transportation for DCM Shriram at Jhagadia GIDC in Bharuch. The service was inaugurated by Sanyam Gandhi, Whole-time Director at Chartered Speed, and Aditya Shriram, Deputy Managing Director at DCM Shriram.

      The initiative is part of a broader effort to shift employee mobility toward electrification and reduce emissions from daily commuting. Chartered Speed said it operates a fleet of over 2,000 buses across six states, transporting around 350,000 passengers daily.

      The newly deployed e-buses come equipped with technology aimed at improving operations and safety, including real-time GPS tracking, Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), CCTV cameras, fire protection systems, and first-aid kits on board.

      Chartered Speed currently provides school and staff transport services for multiple clients, including GHCL Limited and Apple Global School.

      Commenting on the deployment, Sanyam Gandhi said the move strengthens the company’s commitment to cutting its carbon footprint and supporting the transition to greener transport. He added that the company aims to build a large clean-energy fleet and will continue integrating technology to boost efficiency while reinforcing safety standards.
