Akurdi, Pune -Delhivery Limited, India's largest logistics service provider, and Bajaj Auto Limited, a leading manufacturer of two- and three-wheelers, have partnered to deploy 200 Bajaj RIKI eCarts across Delhivery's last-mile delivery network. The initiative aims to accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in metro, Tier-2, and Tier-3 cities across India.

The deployment marks the first phase of the partnership, with plans to introduce around 1,500 Bajaj electric three-wheelers (L3 and L5) during 2026-27. The Bajaj RIKI C4005 (eCart) is designed to support efficient last-mile logistics with low operating costs, high load capacity, and a driving range of over 100 km on a single charge.

Mr. Prashant Gazipur, Chief Operating Officer – In-City Operations, Delhivery, said, "This partnership supports our sustainability goals while improving the earning potential and working conditions of our delivery partners. The deployment of electric cargo vehicles will help create a cleaner and more efficient delivery network."

Mr. Samardeep Subandh, President – Intra-City Business, Bajaj Auto Limited, said, "By combining Delhivery's logistics expertise with Bajaj Auto's electric mobility solutions, we aim to transform last-mile cargo transportation across India. The Bajaj RIKI eCart offers reliability, efficiency, and comfort for delivery operators."

The new electric cargo vehicles are expected to improve delivery efficiency, enhance driver safety and comfort, and reduce carbon emissions. The initiative reflects both companies' commitment to sustainable transportation and environmentally responsible logistics operations.
