Delhi- Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A., has launched the 2025 Multistrada V2 and V2 S in India with a clear focus on shedding weight, sharpening agility and elevating everyday usability. The updates aim to make the adventure-tourer more approachable for a wider range of riders while preserving the long-distance comfort that defines the Multistrada family.
At the core of the lineup is an 890cc, 90-degree V-twin featuring variable intake valve timing. It produces a claimed 115 bhp at 10,750 rpm and 92 Nm at 8,250 rpm. The compact engine architecture contributes directly to the weight loss: the Multistrada V2 now has a 199 kg dry weight, while the V2 S tips the scales at 202 kg. The lighter mass should make low-speed maneuvers and parking far more manageable, especially for newer riders moving up to the segment.
Ducati has reworked the chassis with an aluminium monocoque frame and a redesigned swingarm to improve stability and steering precision without diluting ride comfort. Ergonomics have been refined, including an adjusted seat height and multiple seat options for both rider and pillion, addressing one of the common accessibility concerns with larger adventure motorcycles.
Styling updates echo the Multistrada V4, lending the V2 a sportier stance with sharper LED headlights, integrated DRLs and a revised silencer profile. The new look is more aggressive yet remains practical for touring, striking a balance between performance character and long-haul functionality.
Electronics remain a highlight. Both models are governed by a six-axis IMU and come with five riding modes Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro and the newly added Wet—tailoring power delivery and safety systems to conditions. Ducati Traction Control, Cornering ABS, Wheelie Control and Engine Brake Control are standard. The V2 S enhances the package with semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspension that continuously adjusts damping, a Minimum Preload function to improve ground reach, cruise control and a full-colour five-inch TFT with an updated interface.
Passenger comfort also sees gains thanks to revised seating ergonomics and increased legroom, and both bikes are compliant with India’s E20 fuel standard. The 2025 Multistrada V2 is offered in Ducati Red, while the V2 S comes in Ducati Red and Storm Green.
