New Delhi- Ducati India Private Limited., has launched the 2025 Streetfighter V2 in India, shaking up the middleweight superbike segment. Based on the Panigale V2 and weighing just 392 pounds, it follows Ducati’s “Fight Formula” of superbike performance in a raw, naked streetfighter package aimed at riders aged 25–40.
Offered in Ducati Red and Arctic White, the Streetfighter V2 blends premium Italian styling with aggressive stance. Its arrival comes as India’s premium motorcycle market grows rapidly, and Ducati positions it directly against rivals like the Aprilia Tuono V4 and Kawasaki Z900 while reinforcing its engineering and design pedigree.
Evolving from the original Streetfighter lineage, the V2 uses an aluminum monocoque chassis derived from the Panigale V2, now tuned for Euro 5+ compliance. A shorter wheelbase and higher, wider handlebar make it sharper and more agile, while the wide rear tire, muscular tank, and exposed V-twin give it a dominating visual presence.
Design highlights include a sharp LED headlamp with DRLs, minimal bodywork, and subtle aero elements. A split seat and color TFT display with Ducati Multimedia System ensure comfort and connectivity. Geometry with 24° rake and 94 mm trail, plus adjustable rearsets and a Sachs steering damper, balances stability and quick handling for city, highway, and ghat roads.
Power comes from an 890 cc Superquadro 90° V-twin producing 155.12 PS at 10,750 rpm and 101.4 Nm at 9,000 rpm, good for about 0–100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed near 270 km/h. A 6-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift up/down EVO 2, 16.7 km/l claimed efficiency, and a 17-liter fuel tank give it both punch and usable range.
The chassis uses the engine as a stressed member, paired with fully adjustable Showa 41 mm Big Piston forks and a Sachs rear monoshock. Brembo Stylema calipers with 320 mm front discs, a 245 mm rear disc, and cornering ABS provide serious stopping power, while Marchesini forged wheels with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tires deliver strong grip.
Electronics include six riding modes (Sport, Street, Road, Rain, Race, Track), Bosch cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control EVO, Wheelie Control, and Engine Brake Control. The bike also offers cruise control, quickshifter, Bluetooth-enabled TFT dash with navigation support, Ducati Data Analyzer+, full LED lighting, and smart indicators—making the Streetfighter V2 a highly advanced yet street-ready middleweight naked.
