The 46th EIMA exhibition in Bologna features 1,750 companies, including 700 from abroad, showcasing advanced machinery and digital systems for modern, interconnected agriculture.
Date: November 5, 2024Bologna, Italy - The 46th EIMA International exhibition in Bologna opens with over 1,750 exhibitors, including 700 international companies, showcasing cutting-edge vehicles, machinery, and advanced digital systems that support an increasingly scientific and interconnected agriculture industry.
Ms. Simona Rapastella, General Director of FederUnacoma, said, “The EIMA international exhibition raises expectations ever higher by offering technological solutions to the great challenges of agriculture and the environment. At the Palazzo dei Congressi in Bologna to present the 46th annual EIMA international exhibition of machinery and technologies for agriculture, forestry, livestock farming and greenery maintenance. Population growth, climate change, polluting emissions, animal welfare and the protection of biodiversity are all crucial issues for the future of the Planet and can only be addressed with new generation agro-mechanical technologies”.
EIMA 2024 features 60,000 models of vehicles, equipment, and components across 14 product sectors and 5 thematic shows, including "Components", "Digital", "Energy", "Green", and "Hydrotech". With over 1,750 exhibitors from 50 countries, the Bologna exhibition center is fully occupied, showcasing solutions to boost agricultural productivity while minimizing environmental impact.
EIMA 2024 features over 150 meetings and conferences, highlighting technical innovations, product previews, and the presence of EIMA Campus with eleven universities and research centers. The fair also plays a key political role, with government representatives, parliamentarians, and diplomats attending to explore technological solutions and discuss agricultural models, trade influences, and cooperation strategies.
EIMA 2024 highlights digital and robotic technologies, along with AI and Big Data applications, enabling agricultural companies to connect with weather systems, monitor territories and products, manage supply chains, and optimize machinery for technical support and workplace safety.
