Delhi- Euler Motors., has launched the Turbo EV 1000, the first 1-tonne electric mini truck that combines high performance with mass-market pricing. The vehicle is aimed at India’s commercial vehicle market, where electric penetration currently stands at only 2%.
The Turbo EV 1000 offers a real-world driving range of 140–170 kilometers per charge, powered by an electric drivetrain producing 140 Nm of torque and equipped with 230 mm disc brakes on an R13 wheel platform. Supporting a 1,000 kg payload capacity and a top speed of 70 km/h in Thunder mode, the truck has been engineered to meet the rigorous demands of daily logistics operations while delivering best-in-segment performance.
A key highlight of the model is its fast-charging capability through CCS2 technology, which allows the truck to gain 50 kilometers of range in just 15 minutes at compatible charging stations. Using the standard 3.3 kW onboard AC charger, a full charge requires 4–5.5 hours, making overnight charging convenient for most operators.
Euler Motors estimates that the Turbo EV 1000 can provide annual operational savings of ₹1.15–1.25 lakh compared to diesel-powered vehicles. These savings are driven by lower charging costs, reduced maintenance, and the absence of complex engine servicing, which directly benefit small fleet owners and driver-entrepreneurs working with narrow margins.
According to Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, the launch addresses practical needs in India’s logistics industry while accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility. He noted that the timing coincides with evolving government policies that favor EV adoption through subsidies, preferential financing, and clean transport regulations.
The Turbo EV 1000 represents Euler’s third product and second four-wheeler commercial vehicle, following the Storm EV. Incorporating nine segment-first innovations, the new model directly tackles challenges around upfront cost, range limitations, and charging infrastructure, positioning itself as a compelling option in India’s growing electric commercial vehicle space.
