Marktoberdorf, Germany – Fendt., a brand of AGCO GmbH and an agricultural equipment company, is putting the spotlight on the future of smart and sustainable farming at Agritechnica 2025 with the debut of its battery-electric e107 Vario and the new 800 Vario tractors, both featuring advanced automation and autonomy.

The Fendt e107 Vario introduces a fully battery-electric drive system delivering 50 kW (68 hp) in Eco mode and up to 66 kW (90 hp) in Dynamic+ mode for peak performance. Alongside it, Fendt is also displaying the e100 Vario equipped with a battery-electric range extender from GreenIng and a rear-mounted precision seed drill. This system employs environmental sensors to navigate fields autonomously—without relying on GNSS—by dynamically following land contours with high precision.

Complementing these innovations, Fendt’s 800 Vario combines traditional power with cutting-edge smart farming features. The tractor boasts a redesigned cab, upgraded lighting, and optional Tech Rails for integrating sensors. It also incorporates advanced digital tools such as Fendt Workgroup, Tramline Control, and Tractor Implement Management (TIM) for seamless coordination between machines.

In collaboration with PTx Trimble, Fendt is offering the OutRun retrofit kit, which enables the 800 Vario to operate autonomously during harvesting or soil cultivation. The system links combine harvesters and grain carts for synchronized, independent operation, using intelligent route planning and obstacle detection for safety and efficiency.
