Tirschenreuth, Germany - HAMM AG., a construction machinery company, has introduced three new earthwork compactors - the 11-ton HC 100i, 12-ton HC 110i, and 13-ton HC 130i G-Tier, designed to deliver higher efficiency, improved operator comfort, and more configuration choices.
Each model is available with either an 84.3-inch smooth drum or padfoot drum, offering high centrifugal forces and linear loads. Power comes from a 115-horsepower Tier 4 Final Deere engine equipped with eco mode, which maintains compaction performance at lower engine speeds to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
The rollers achieve gradeability of up to 52% with vibration and 58% without. A newly designed three-point articulation system, with three joints and an additional connecting link, improves driving comfort, steering precision, and traction while reducing shock loads on the operator. The large steering angle and tight turning radius further enhance maneuverability.
Inside, the spacious cab features ergonomic design and multiple options, including a ROPS cabin with heating and air conditioning, adjustable seating, a tilting steering column, and a vibration-isolated operator platform. Controls are intuitive and language-neutral to support operators of all skill levels.
Additional options include the Hamm Compaction Meter for measurement, a process data interface, a lighting package, and an automatic vibration system. Maintenance is streamlined with easily accessible service points and a tilting engine hood to minimize downtime.
