Date: May 24, 2025Gurugram- Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI)., has expanded its premium motorcycle portfolio with the launch of the all-new CB750 Hornet and the flagship CB1000 Hornet SP. Bookings are now open, and deliveries will begin in June 2025. While the CB750 Hornet will be available at both BigWing and BigWing Topline dealerships, the CB1000 Hornet SP will be sold exclusively through BigWing Topline outlets.
Targeting India’s growing premium motorcycle segment, Honda aims to appeal to young enthusiasts who crave performance, technology, and distinctive style. HMSI’s top executives highlighted how these new models reflect Honda's legacy of engineering, aggressive design, and exhilarating riding dynamics.
Both motorcycles follow the “Aggressive X Pure” design philosophy, sporting a sharp streetfighter aesthetic with sculpted tank shrouds, angular bodywork, and full-LED lighting. The CB750 Hornet is offered in Matte Pearl Glare White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic, while the CB1000 Hornet SP comes in a striking Matte Ballistic Black Metallic with gold accents.
Powering the CB750 Hornet is a 755cc parallel-twin engine producing 91.7 bhp and 75 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and assist/slipper clutch. The CB1000 Hornet SP steps up with a 999cc inline-four engine, delivering 157 bhp and 107 Nm, also mated to a 6-speed transmission with a bi-directional quickshifter.
The CB750 Hornet features four ride modes—Sport, Standard, Rain, and User—while the CB1000 Hornet SP adds a fifth, fully customizable mode. Both bikes include Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), a 5-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity for calls, navigation, and media, and an emergency stop signal for enhanced safety.
Suspension duties are handled by a Showa SFF-BP front fork and Pro-Link monoshock for the CB750. The CB1000 Hornet SP upgrades to a Showa SFF-BP front fork and OHLINS TTX36 rear suspension. Braking systems differ slightly, with the CB750 using 296mm dual front discs, and the CB1000 Hornet SP getting 310mm discs with Brembo calipers, both paired with dual-channel ABS.
With these launches, Honda aims to redefine the performance motorcycling experience for Indian riders, offering advanced features, bold styling, and thrilling performance in both middleweight and liter-class categories.
