New Delhi- Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, Pvt. Ltd., has officially launched the much-anticipated X-ADV, a crossover machine that blends the ruggedness of an adventure motorcycle with the everyday usability of a maxi-scooter. X-ADV is now open for bookings at Honda’s BigWing dealerships nationwide, with customer deliveries beginning in June 2025.
Positioned as a first-of-its-kind offering in India’s premium two-wheeler segment, the Honda X-ADV delivers futuristic design, advanced technology, and all-terrain versatility. Highlighting the launch, Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO of HMSI, stated, “The X-ADV is built for those who seek new experiences on two wheels. We are confident it will attract a new segment of premium motorcycle enthusiasts in India.”
Mr. Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing, HMSI, added, “The X-ADV combines adventure capability with urban practicality. Whether you're commuting during the week or heading out for a weekend escape, this crossover delivers unmatched performance and convenience.”
The X-ADV sports an aggressive front profile with dual LED headlights, integrated DRLs, and turn indicators. A redesigned, more comfortable seat with thicker padding ensures better reach and long-ride comfort. Practical touches include a 22-litre under-seat storage compartment and a USB Type-C charging port.
Riders will enjoy a 5-inch full-color TFT screen with Honda RoadSync support, offering call and message alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and music controls via smartphone connectivity.
The bike sits on a tubular steel frame and features 41mm USD front forks, a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, and wire-spoke wheels (17-inch front and 15-inch rear). Braking is handled by dual 296mm front discs with four-piston calipers and a 240mm rear disc, all supported by dual-channel ABS.
At its core, the X-ADV is powered by a 745cc liquid-cooled SOHC 8-valve parallel-twin engine, producing 43.1 kW at 6,750 rpm and 69 Nm of torque at 4,750 rpm. The engine is mated to Honda’s Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), enabling smooth, clutch-free gear shifts.
It also features ride-by-wire technology and five riding modes—Standard, Sport, Rain, Gravel, and a customisable User mode. Rider aids include Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and cruise control, enhancing safety and convenience.
