Tokyo, Japan – Komatsu Ltd., a heavy equipment manufacturer, has partnered with Rototilt to offer factory-ready Plug & Play tiltrotator integration on its PC220LCi-12 excavator, enhancing precision, efficiency, and operator ease. The integration simplifies installation, requiring minimal connections between the excavator, tiltrotator, and controller. Programmable joysticks with tiltrotator functions are now standard on the PC220LCi-12.
The new Intelligent Machine Control 3.0 system enables full control of tiltrotator rotation and tilting, and includes posture hold control to automatically maintain attachment orientation, making grading and digging smoother for operators.

The collaboration delivers a high-quality, adaptable system, compatible with options such as Rototilt’s QuickChnge hydraulic quick coupler. According to Macintyre, the new PC220LCi-12 setup requires only a few connections and features integrated tiltrotator controls on programmable levers, underscoring Komatsu’s commitment to enhancing customer productivity and precision.
