Modena, Italy - Magni TH S.R.L., a lifting and material handling equipment provider, has unveiled the RTH 8.51, now the world’s tallest rotating telescopic handler, surpassing the previous record-holder, the RTH 6.51. With a maximum working height of 51 metres and a boosted lifting capacity of over 8 tonnes, the new model combines crane-level performance with the versatility of a telehandler.
Engineers achieved the capacity increase—over 2,000 kg more than its predecessor—while maintaining the same weight and dimensions as the RTH 6.51. The RTH 8.51 also debuts three advanced reach modes (M1, M2, M3) in one machine, enabling operators to optimise outreach, load capacity, or stability depending on the application. Comparative studies show up to 60% better lifting performance at maximum reach compared to the previous model.
The machine supports more than 60 attachments, extending its use across industries such as cladding installation, green area maintenance, and specialised lifting tasks. A new work platform, the TP 4.5.10, further extends reach to 63 metres, rivaling aerial platforms.
In addition, the RTH 8.51 introduces Magni’s Twin Power system, allowing the machine to switch to full-electric operation via a 400V connection for reduced emissions and noise in indoor or sensitive environments.
By blending height, strength, and adaptability, the RTH 8.51 positions Magni at the forefront of lifting innovation, offering a sustainable alternative to compact off-road cranes and aerial platforms.
