The trucks were distributed by MFTBC's local distributor, United Motors Lanka PLC, which also conducted end-user training.

138 units from two ODA programs were procured through MFTBC's partner, FutureBud International, a Tokyo-based trading company. Vehicle chassis were assembled at MFTBC's Kawasaki factory, with cargo bodies mounted by Kyokuto Kaihatsu Kogyo LTD, including features like tailgate lifts and garbage collectors.
