Fakenham, UK - Oxbo International., an agricultural equipment manufacturer, has expanded production of its Twin Merger CM240 to its Fakenham facility in the United Kingdom, shifting manufacturing from Marshfield, Wisconsin, in a strategic move to better serve UK and European customers. The decision strengthens Oxbo’s local presence and enhances its ability to deliver advanced forage solutions through regional manufacturing.
With more than two decades of experience designing pull-type mergers, Oxbo continues to build on its expertise with the latest-generation Twin Merger CM240. The machine is engineered to handle a wide range of grass types while forming dense, smooth windrows across multiple crop conditions.
The CM240 is Oxbo’s largest twin merger model, offering a working width of up to 12.5 metres. Its ability to merge crops to the left, right, or centre gives operators greater flexibility in changing field conditions. The system produces consistent, uniform windrows that improve forage harvester efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and help preserve feed quality by minimizing ash content and protecting leaf structure. Designed for hay, silage, small grains, and coastal grasses, the CM240 also features ISOBUS control, a flexible pick-up system, and a simplified maintenance-focused design.
Mr. Steven Skipper, Sales Manager at Oxbo Fakenham, said, “This expansion not only strengthens Oxbo’s presence in the UK, but also ensures that our customers benefit from locally manufactured, high-quality forage solutions. Producing the CM240 here allows us to deliver faster, provide better support, and continue building strong relationships with farmers and contractors across the region.”
Production of the latest Twin Merger CM240 is already underway at the Fakenham facility. In addition, Oxbo plans to develop a dedicated dealer network to ensure nationwide coverage and reliable local service across the UK and Europe.
