Bangalore -Ultraviolette Automotive Pvt. Ltd., The Bangalore based electric vehicle Start-up Company has appointed Mr.Vinayak Bhat as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Bhat's new role comes as the EV firm gets ready to launch new products for different types of mobility over the next five years, targeting both local and international markets.
Prior to taking on the role of Chief Product Officer, Vinayak was the Technical Director and Principal Engineer at Ultraviolette. Since joining the company in 2017, he has been key to the development of the F77 Mach 2 and the F99 Racing Platform. His role involved overseeing and coordinating all elements of product development, engineering, operations, and manufacturing.
Mr.Vinayak Bhat, Chief Product Officer, Ultraviolette, said, "My goal is to craft exceptional products for global markets through our strategy of vertical integration - Specifically across critical elements like the battery technology, drivetrain and vehicle architecture. Our aim: redefine standards and solidify Ultraviolette’s position as a global leader in electric mobility."

Vinayak began his career in 2013 as a structural engineer at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). He later moved to Safran Engineering, where he worked as a design analyst. During his time there, he played a crucial role in major projects for leading aerospace companies such as Airbus and Boeing, concentrating on components like landing gears, nacelles, and fuselage parts.
Further, Vinayak Co-founded a start-up company that works on drivetrain and battery technology, pushing forward his efforts in electric vehicles.
