Moline, Illinois - Deere and Company., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has unveiled updates to its Model Year 2027 (MY27) tillage portfolio, introducing enhanced flexibility for farmers operating across diverse field conditions and farm sizes. The latest lineup features new two-section High-Speed Disk (HSD) models in multiple widths and expanded autonomy-ready capabilities for select rippers and field cultivators.
Mr. Michael Porter, marketing manager for tillage equipment, said, “The new expanded John Deere tillage portfolio reflects what we continue to hear from farmers—the need for tools that fit their operation, acres, and timeline. From new sizes to expanded autonomy-ready options, these updates provide customers with more ways to complete critical fieldwork efficiently during tight post-harvest and pre-planting seasons.”
Building on its HSD lineup launched in early 2025, John Deere is introducing two-section models in 15-, 19-, 22-, and 25-foot widths. These additions are designed to deliver the same dual-season performance, residue management, and field finish as larger models while offering greater flexibility for farms with smaller acreages, transport constraints, or varying tractor capacities.
The new two-section HSDs will retain key features found in the larger machines, including factory-installed autonomy readiness, a durable frame design, and improved residue flow. These enhancements are expected to help farmers cover more ground each day without compromising performance.
In addition to the new disk models, John Deere is expanding its autonomy-ready tillage solutions to address growing labor shortages and the need for improved productivity. Starting in 2026, autonomy-ready capability will be available on the 2730 combination ripper as well as the 64-foot and 69-foot versions of the 2230 field cultivator.
