The driveline had a completely new 12 ltrs engine (16 ltrs for the Volvo FH16)  powered the ground-breaking driveline, while the all-new cab provided exceptional aerodynamics and driver comfort. 

Innovations have continues through the years Volvo is safety, quality and care for the environment from the starting point, milestone over the past three decades include the driver’s airbag, he automated gearbox solution I- shift and Volvo Dynamic steering which provide easy steering and great manoeuvrability

In the exterior design the rear view mirrors with a slim design that gives better direct vision for the driver, and the V shaped headlamps two instances of how Volvo technology and design are employed to give beneficial features for the driver include enhanced sight and comfort while giving the truck its distinctive appearance.
