New Delhi - Honda Cars India Ltd., a premium cars manufacturer, has launched the All-New 3rd Generation Honda Amaze in India starting at Rs. 7.99 lakh, on December 4, 2024, an innovative and stylish premium compact sedan designed for young buyers and modern families.
Despite the SUV craze slowing down the compact sedan segment, Maruti's refreshed Dzire and the new Amaze have injected fresh energy into the market.
The exterior features a front design similar to the Elevate, with a hexagonal grille and rectangular LED headlamps in the top-spec version. The fog lamps also have LED units with plastic surrounds. Notably, there is no visible radar sensor, as the car is equipped with camera-based driving assistance features.
The 2024 Amaze maintains a balanced side profile with a strong shoulder line and now features 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, similar to the City. At the rear, it mirrors the City’s design with LED tail lamps and a smooth bumper. Inside, it gets updates like a floating infotainment screen, new steering wheel, and ambient LED lighting, with fabric upholstery and no sunroof or ventilated seats.
The Amaze is available in three variants: V, VX, and ZX. The top-end ZX variant comes equipped with LED headlamps and taillights, rear AC vents, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a wireless charger.
Mr. Takuya Tsumura, President & CEO at Honda Cars India Ltd., said, “The Honda Amaze has always been a special product for us and our customers in India. As a pioneer in premium styling for entry sedans, the Honda Amaze has always set the standard for design and sophistication in its segment. With the 3rd generation, we are excited to take this to the next level, offering our modern Indian customers an enhanced premium package like never before.”
