Mumbai-GS Caltex India Pvt. Ltd., a lubricant oil manufacturer, has appointed Vijay Savant as CEO and MD and brings a 25-year background in the industry, having held pivotal roles at Reliance Industries, BP, and LG Chem.

Mr. Savant, who succeeds Rajesh Nagar, joins the company from the South Korean chemical firm LG Chem, where he served as Global Project Development Director.
