The new Nios Hy-CNG Duo, featuring dual cylinder technology for enhanced fuel efficiency, is available in Magna and Sportz variants.

Mumbai-Hyundai Motor India Limited, an automotive manufacturer has launched the Grand i10 Nios Hy-CNG Duo in India, with prices starting at Rs 7.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The new CNG variant is equipped with dual cylinder technology, which boosts the hatchback's practicality. The Grand i10 Nios is the second model in Hyundai's range to feature this innovative technology, following the Exter Hy-CNG Duo.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG Features:
Hyundai is set to offer the Grand i10 Nios CNG with dual cylinders in two variants: Magna and Sportz. The Sportz variant will be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.30 lakh. The Grand i10 Nios will also remain available with a single-cylinder configuration.
The 1.2-liter four-cylinder engine generates 69 horsepower and 95 Nm of torque when running on CNG, and 83 horsepower and 114 Nm when using petrol. For the Nios CNG, Hyundai offers only a 5-speed manual transmission, while the petrol versions are available with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
The Grand i10 Nios CNG is equipped with projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, and LED tail lamps. It also features roof rails, a shark fin antenna, and a 20.25 cm touchscreen infotainment system. The interior features ambient footwell lighting, rear air conditioning vents, and tilt steering, among other comforts.
In terms of safety, the hatchback is well-equipped with six airbags as standard, a highline TPMS, a rearview camera, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), and additional advanced safety features.
