Partner to boost EV charging for commercial vehicles, deploying chargers at key locations and integrating solar energy for sustainable, affordable mobility solutions.

Mumbai- Tivolt Electric Vehicles Private Limited (Tivolt)., an EV venture of the Murugappa Group and a subsidiary of TI Clean Mobility, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a renewable energy and EV charging sectors. This strategic partnership aims to advance e-mobility for commercial vehicles nationwide by combining Tata Power’s expertise in comprehensive EV charging solutions with Tivolt’s expanding fleet of small electric commercial vehicles. Together, they will work towards building a robust and sustainable EV charging ecosystem across India.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Saju Nair, CEO, Tivolt Electric Vehicles and Mr. Virendra Goyal, Head BD EV charging, TPREL, in the presence of Mr. Shivram Bikkina, Chief -Solar Rooftop & EV charging business, TPREL.
TPREL will leverage its expertise in EV charging infrastructure to equip Tivolt dealerships, customer locations, and high-traffic areas with reliable, strategically placed chargers. With prior experience in deploying 200+ customized EV charging stations across 100+ cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Bengaluru, TPREL ensures seamless charging for small electric commercial vehicles.
In a step towards sustainability, TPREL will explore solar energy integration at Tivolt dealerships and customer locations, reducing carbon footprints and lowering charging costs. This initiative reinforces a shared commitment to making EV adoption more accessible, affordable, and eco-friendly.
