Bangalore- Toyota Kirloskar Motor Limited., (TKM) has signed an MoU with the Maharashtra government to explore investing in a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (formerly Aurangabad). This proposed investment, once finalised, is expected to be made over a multi-year period, potentially contributing to job creation and economic growth in the region
Toyota, with two existing plants in Bidadi, Karnataka, having a combined capacity of 342,000 vehicles and over 6,000 employees, plans to invest ₹3,300 crore in a third plant. The new facility, set to be operational by 2026, will boost the total production capacity of 4.42 lakh units from the Bidadi plants.

Today’s MOU signing marks a pivotal point as we stride into the next phase of growth in the country enabling us tocontribute to enriching lives with qualitative mobility solutions locally and globally."
