Pune- VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, reported sales of 6,622 units in July 2024, up 12.7% from 5,877 units in July 2023. This total comprises 6,444 units of Eicher brand and 178 units of Volvo brand.

Eicher-branded trucks and buses saw sales of 6,444 units in July 2024, marking a 12.3% increase from 5,736 units in July 2023. Within the domestic commercial vehicle market, Eicher's sales reached 6,044 units, reflecting a 13.8% growth from 5,311 units in July 2023. However, exports of Eicher-branded trucks and buses declined by 5.9%, with 400 units sold in July 2024 compared to 425 units in July 2023.

Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses experienced a significant increase in sales, reaching 178 units in July 2024, up 26.2% from 141 units in July 2023.
