Jundiai, Brazil - AGCO Corporation., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has expanded its operations in Jundiaí (SP) with a USD 3.2 million investment, opening the Reman Transmissions Center of Excellence and the new AGCO Academy headquarters. This marks South America's first Reman Transmissions Center, highlighting AGCO's commitment to sustainability and professional growth in agribusiness.

Mr. Eric Hansoti, Chairman, President & CEO at AGCO, said, “Our vision is to be the trusted partner for industry-leading, smart farming solutions, and these investments are helping us deliver on that commitment in Brazil and throughout South America. We can increase opportunities for farmers to have access to high-quality, sustainable products at a fraction of the price. The expansion of AGCO Academy will also help us train more technicians who will provide critical support to keep farmers operating. I am proud of these steps forward on our Farmer First journey.”

The Reman Transmissions Center of Excellence spans 1,750 square meters, focusing on remanufacturing CVT and mechanical transmissions to enhance uptime and reduce costs for farmers. It aims to produce 120 units of each in the first year. Mechanics are training in Germany and Finland to ensure top technical standards.

AGCO's new Reman Transmissions Center will offer high-performance CVT and mechanical transmissions at 30% lower costs, with production starting in April 2025. The new 2,300 sqm AGCO Academy in Jundiaí will provide advanced training for Fendt, Massey Ferguson, and Valtra professionals, enhancing technical skills and agricultural qualifications.

Mr. Rodrigo Junqueira, Vice President, Massey Ferguson, South America and General Manager, South America, said, “The opening of the new AGCO Academy headquarters in Jundiaí illustrates AGCO’s commitment to ongoing training as a key driver of Brazilian agribusiness. Amidst the digital transformation and new technological advancements that are reshaping the agricultural sector, technical expertise is crucial for the sector's continued progress.”
