Peterborough, England – AGROMA Ltd., a spraying machinery manufacturer, and Knight Farm Machinery., have formed a new UK import business, AGROMA UK Ltd, to strengthen sprayer distribution across the UK and Ireland.

The new company has been founded by Brian Knight, Managing Director of Knight Farm Machinery, together with AGROMA GR directors Konstantin Mavrov and Nikos Petkos. The partnership will give existing AGROMA and Knight dealers access to a broader range of mounted, trailed and specialist sprayers.

AGROMA UK will import and distribute AGROMA machines through an expanded sales team and a wider dealer network. The company will be based at Knight Farm Machinery’s facility in South Luffenham, near Oakham in Rutland, where it will hold new machines, spare parts, technical support and training facilities.

AGROMA, based in Veria, Greece, has been manufacturing sprayers since 1977 and operates from a 7,000 sq m facility accredited to EN ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.

Brian Knight said the partnership is a natural step, as both companies have worked together for many years and share a commitment to engineering quality, technology and machine performance.

The AGROMA range includes Millenium mounted sprayers with 800 to 1,500 litre tanks and boom widths from 12m to 18m, along with three trailed sprayer ranges offering 3,000 to 4,000 litre capacities and boom widths up to 30m. Higher-specification models include ISOBUS control, joystick operation, advanced diaphragm pumps, stainless steel spray lines, Quadri-Jet nozzle bodies and auto recirculation systems.

All AGROMA sprayers feature blue LED boom lighting, LED work lights, integrated road lighting and flashing beacons to improve visibility and safety during operation.

The company will also offer specialist orchard, fruit and vineyard sprayers, poultry building sanitisation mist sprayers and heavy-duty mulchers designed for demanding orchard and vineyard conditions.

Mr. Paul Harrison, Responsible for sales, marketing and distribution at Knight Farm Machinery and AGROMA UK, said, “The expanded portfolio creates strong opportunities for UK and Irish farmers and dealers. The company welcomes enquiries from new distribution partners, while continuing to support existing AGROMA and Knight dealerships.”
