Grubbenvorst, Netherlands - AgXeed B.V., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has unveiled its latest innovation in autonomous farming – the AgBot T2 7 SERIES, a 230 hp diesel-electric powerhouse designed to deliver high performance with minimal soil impact. Combining strength, precision, and intelligent autonomy, the new AgBot redefines efficiency and sustainability for modern agriculture.
Weighing just over eight tonnes, the AgBot T2 7 SERIES provides the capability of a full-sized tractor while maintaining a lightweight, soil-protective footprint. Its tracked design ensures stability, traction, and ultra-low ground pressure of under 30 kPa, helping preserve soil health even in demanding field conditions. Adjustable track widths from 1.5 to 3.2 metres make it adaptable across various crops and terrains.
Powered by a 230 hp diesel-electric drive, the AgBot offers a 9-tonne rear lift capacity and hydraulic output of up to 170 l/min, along with a 1,000 rpm front PTO for added versatility. Fully autonomous operation is made possible through the AgXeed Safety System, which incorporates geo-fencing, obstacle detection, and emergency protocols to ensure safe, independent field work.
Mr. Joris Hiddema, CEO of AgXeed, said, “Farming today demands that we think differently—not just about technology, but about what really matters: the soil, the people, and the future we’re building. The T2 7 SERIES is our way of giving farmers real freedom—from limits, from complexity, and from compromise.”
Visitors can experience the AgBot T2 7 SERIES firsthand at AGRITECHNICA 2025, Hall 13, Stand A10, where AgXeed will showcase how cutting-edge autonomy, power, and soil-friendly design are shaping the next generation of farming technology.
