Dubai, UAE- Al Habtoor Motors LLC., has entered into an exclusive partnership with India’s JBM Electric Vehicles Pvt Ltd., to introduce next-generation electric buses to the UAE. Under the agreement, Al Habtoor Motors will serve as the sole importer and distributor of JBM’s e-buses in the country, supporting the UAE’s Net Zero by 2050 Strategic Initiative.
The partnership aims to deliver a massive environmental impact over the coming decade, with projections to reduce CO₂ emissions by 2.8 billion kilograms, save more than 1 billion litres of diesel, and serve 1.6 billion passengers. The e-buses will be tailored to withstand the UAE’s climate and deployed across urban routes, staff and school transport, and intercity travel. Customers will also benefit from a full turnkey solution encompassing vehicles, charging infrastructure, and flexible leasing services.
