Alliance Launches Agri Nova R-1 Bias-Ply Tractor Tire

Mumbai - Alliance Tire Group., a part of Yokohama Off-Highway Tires, has launched the Agri Nova R-1, a next-generation bias-ply tractor tire designed for light-to-medium duty agricultural tractors. The new tire has been developed to meet modern farming requirements by improving traction, driving comfort, durability and overall operational efficiency.

The Agri Nova R-1 tire features a high-mass, three-angle lug design and a higher lug count compared with the previous generation. According to Alliance, this design enhances traction in the field while maintaining driving comfort on the road. The tire also includes angular tie bars, integrated multi-functional mud breakers on the lug face and smooth cavity contours to support self-cleaning capability, stability and consistent performance.

In addition, the tire incorporates a square lug profile and wider tread width to create a broader footprint. This design helps optimize contact pressure distribution and reduce soil compaction during field operations. The tire also features size markings on the lugs for easier identification and a three-spoke sidewall design displaying the brand name, pattern and tire size.

Alliance has introduced the Agri Nova with 60 sizes and 111 individual SKUs, with additional sizes currently under development. The product range covers rim diameters from 12 inches to 42 inches and includes multiple load and ply ratings. It is available in both tubeless (TL) and tube-type (TT) configurations.

The tire lineup is designed to support both two-wheel-drive (2WD) and mechanical front-wheel assist (MFWA) tractors across various agricultural applications and regional markets. Alliance also offers a seven-year warranty for the Agri Nova R-1 bias tire.
