Allison TerraTran Powers XCMG Mining Trucks

Allison Transmission partners with XCMG to equip XG110 WBMD trucks with TerraTran™, enhancing performance and durability. The first 225 trucks are now in operation in Brazil.

Indianapolis, USA – Allison Transmission Inc., is excited to announce the introduction of its advanced TerraTran™ fully automatic transmission into the wide body mining dump (WBMD) market for the first time. Partnering with Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG), Allison has integrated TerraTran™ into XCMG’s XG110 WBMD trucks. The first batch of 225 trucks equipped with TerraTran™ has been delivered and is now supporting mining operations in Brazil.

TerraTran™ is an enhanced variant of the proven Allison 4000 Series™ transmission, purpose-built for the global construction and mining sectors. Developed based on customer feedback, TerraTran™ maintains the reliability and durability of the 4000 Series™ while offering higher horsepower, torque, and GVW capability. Additionally, it includes fast reverse capability for improved efficiency in mining operations.
