Indiana, United states- Allison Transmission Holdings Inc., a manufacturer of commercial duty automatic transmissions and hybrid propulsion systems, Over the past four years, over 10,000 Allison-equipped Hyundai Mighty vehicles have been sold since their 2020 integration. Today, half of all Hyundai Mighty trucks come with Allison transmissions, up from 10% four years ago. The 10,000th truck was delivered to Unchang Logitec, a top logistics company in South Korea.

The Hyundai Mighty, a 2.5- and 3.5-ton light-duty truck, dominates the South Korean market. Demand for automatic models has surged due to their driving comfort, fuel economy, reliability, serviceability, and productivity. Since 2020, over 10,000 Allison 1000 xFE fully automatic transmissions have been delivered for the Mighty, which is used in applications like pickup and delivery, cargo, refuse, firefighting, and specialty vehicles.
