Amazone's Venterra 1K hoe, up to 4.20m wide, fits 60 hp+ tractors with a modular design for various tools and rear or front mounting.
Date: March 1, 2025Hasbergen, Germany - AMAZONEN-WERKE H. DREYER SE & Co. KG., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has expanded hoe range with the Venterra 1K, offering working widths up to 4.20m. Designed for tractors from 60 hp, this lightweight machine features a modular system for various parallelograms and tools. Precise row guidance simplifies rear-mounted operation, while a front mounting kit allows use on the front linkage.
A key feature of the Venterra 1K is its parallelogram, ensuring optimal tool guidance. The EKP parallelogram suits row widths of 16 cm to 37.5 cm and can hold up to three hoe blades. For row spacings of 12.5 cm to 90 cm, the KPP parallelogram offers up to five tool carrier positions. The working depth is infinitely adjustable, with a generous overlap between hoe blades.
The modular system provides various hoe blade options for different crops and soils, with the RapidoClip system enabling quick, tool-free changes. Camera-based row guidance ensures precise positioning, even on slopes. The Horus Professional camera detects crops by position, height, or color, while SmartVision offers automatic slope correction. Both adjust to speed, with live monitoring via the terminal.
The Venterra 1K extended frame offers clear crop row visibility, with a row sensor enhancing camera guidance for late weed control and under-sown crops, even in strong crosswinds. It supports Amazone application systems for efficient fertilization and seeding, using the FTender front tank and distribution head for precise nutrient placement and incorporation.
The RowSpray band sprayer, paired with the FT-P front tank, enables precise application of plant protection agents or liquid fertilizers over crop rows, while the Venterra 1K hoe removes weeds mechanically. GPS-Switch controls individual hoeing units hydraulically, preventing crop damage, even in wedge-shaped fields. The AmaTron 4 ISOBUS terminal ensures easy operation and integrates with the band sprayer.
The Venterra 1K’s modular design allows easy adaptation, with retrofittable tools like hoe protection rollers, finger hoes, ridgers, and harrows on contour-following parallelograms. Working widths and row spacings adjust quickly with a folding frame extension. The mounting frame supports camera-based control retrofitting, while SectionControl compatibility cuts costs and field weight.
