Hasbergen, Germany - Amazone H. Dreyer GmbH & Co. KG., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced the Catros Pro compact disc harrow with a factory-fitted slurry distribution system designed to improve the application of organic nutrients during soil tillage.
The system integrates a Vogelsang slurry distributor, enabling slurry or fermentation residues to be incorporated into the soil in a single pass. At the core is the Vogelsang SynCult DosiMat DMX distributor, capable of application rates up to 10,000 litres per minute while maintaining precise distribution.
Slurry is applied close to the ground behind the first row of discs, which open the soil surface. The second row of discs then closes the soil, reducing ammonia emissions and improving nutrient utilization.
The Catros Pro features 510 mm coarse-serrated discs with working depths of 5–14 cm. Individually suspended discs allow the machine to follow ground contours while maintaining high throughput even in heavy organic conditions.
Built for demanding manure spreading tasks, the implement includes sealed maintenance-free disc bearings and a durable powder-coated frame for corrosion protection. An optional central lubrication system automatically lubricates key components to reduce maintenance.
The Smart Frame System allows fully hydraulic working-depth adjustment directly from the cab, enabling operators to adapt quickly to changing soil conditions.
AMAZONE offers the SW 600 Pro cage roller for soil consolidation, along with other roller options. Models with 6 and 7 metre working widths can also be equipped with a double harrow to support faster soil drying and warming.
The Catros Pro range includes mounted models in 5, 6 and 7 metres and trailed versions in 8 and 9 metres, designed for high-capacity slurry tankers.
With the new Catros Pro with factory-installed slurry distributor, AMAZONE expands its range of efficient solutions for modern nutrient management and soil cultivation.
