Amazone's new Cenius Ultra cultivator (3m & 3.5m) features C-Mix Ultra tines with hydraulic overload protection for durability in tough conditions.
Date: February 22, 2025Seattle, Washington - AMAZONEN-WERKE H. DREYER SE & Co. KG., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, launches the Cenius Ultra, a new mounted cultivator available in 3m and 3.5m widths. It features C-Mix Ultra tines with hydraulic overload protection, ensuring reliability and durability in tough conditions.
The C-Mix Ultra tines on the Cenius Ultra excel in variable soil conditions, offering seamless adaptability. With an adjustable release force ranging from 500 kg to 800 kg, they ensure optimal performance across different soil types.
At the lower 500 kg release force, the tines quickly move upward on light soils with large stones, protecting the cultivator frame and keeping stones below the surface. For compacted or heavy clay soils, the pressure can be increased to 800 kg, ensuring consistent and reliable soil loosening.
With high lift heights, the tines maintain an optimal working depth of up to 35 cm, even in tough conditions. The C-Mix Ultra tines ensure reliable performance, protecting the cultivator while delivering excellent soil movement.
The system's stepless adjustment is easily accessible from the front on the headstock. A conveniently located pressure gauge ensures clear visibility from the tractor cab for easy monitoring.
The Ultra overload protection system features individual hydraulic cylinders on the tines and central hydraulic accumulators. This ensures a smooth, damped reset of the C-Mix Ultra tine to its neutral position, minimizing wear and tear even with frequent activation.
The new C-Mix Ultra tine is compatible with the wide C-Mix share system, offering a variety of points to suit every application, from standard to durable HD shares. Its strengths shine in tough soil conditions where the tine protection system is frequently activated.
