Amazone Launches IceTiger Inox Winter Salt Spreaders

Hasbergen, Germany - Amazone H. Dreyer GmbH & Co. KG., an agricultural machinery manufacturer, has introduced a new generation of professional winter road gritting equipment with the launch of the IceTiger Inox and the compact IceTiger S Inox salt spreaders. Designed for intensive, year-round use, the machines feature stainless steel construction, belt-floor material delivery and full ISOBUS compatibility for accurate spreading.

Both models are equipped with a high-quality stainless steel hopper that offers strong resistance to corrosion and is backed by a seven-year manufacturer guarantee against rust perforation. Material is fed via a hydraulically driven belt floor, ensuring a consistent flow to the spreading disc and reliable handling of sensitive materials such as pre-wetted salt, even at low application rates.

Spreading widths are adjustable from 1.5 to 8 metres. Electric delivery point adjustment and ISOBUS-controlled disc speed allow symmetrical or asymmetrical spreading, single- or dual-lane treatment and higher application rates at critical locations such as junctions and bridges.

The IceTiger Inox is available with a 1,000-litre hopper, extendable to 1,900 litres, making it suitable for longer routes and urban networks. The IceTiger S Inox offers a more compact solution, with capacities from 380 to 920 litres, aimed at footpaths, cycleways and narrow roads.

Targeted at municipal services, highway authorities and contractors, both spreaders are designed for reliable operation in all weather conditions and can also be used for spreading loose chippings during summer, supporting year-round use.
