India –Greaves Electric Mobility., has launched the Ampere Reo VYB, a new low-speed electric scooter designed for city commuting and first-time electric vehicle buyers. The company says the scooter offers a practical and reliable mobility solution for everyday travel.
The Ampere Reo VYB is powered by a Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery and has a top speed of 25 km/h. It offers a claimed riding range of up to 80 km on a single charge and a battery life of up to 100,000 km. Customers can choose from four colour options: Warm White, Pastel Purple, Dark Grey, and Aqua Metallic.
The scooter comes with several practical features, including 24 litres of under-seat storage, a colour LCD display, keyless start, LED lighting, a front disc brake, telescopic front suspension, and a rear damper. It is powered by a hub-mounted electric motor and is backed by a three-year or 30,000 km warranty. Ampere also provides after-sales support through more than 400 service touchpoints across India.

Ampere, a part of Greaves Electric Mobility, manufactures electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers in India and operates manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad, Noida, and Ranipet. The launch of the Reo VYB further expands the company's electric mobility portfolio for the Indian market.
