Ampere Launches Updated Nexus EX+ Electric Scooter in India

New Delhi, India -Ampere., has launched the updated Nexus EX+ electric scooter in India, featuring a more powerful 5kW motor, an IP65-rated charger and an optional Intellipack connected technology suite.

The Nexus EX+ is available in two variants, including a standard version and a connected version with Intellipack. Both variants are offered in Carbon Knight and Steel Grey colour options and will be available through Ampere dealerships across India.

The biggest update is the new 5kW electric motor, which delivers a claimed peak torque of 202Nm at the wheel. Ampere claims the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in 4.5 seconds. The updated motor is also designed to improve performance on steep climbs, flyovers and hilly roads, including when carrying a pillion or additional load.

The Intellipack variant offers connected features through the Ampere Connect App. These include real-time charging status, live tracking, geo-fencing, Find My Scooter, turn-by-turn navigation, remote vehicle diagnostics, trip reports and battery health monitoring.

Another important update is the IP65-rated charger, which provides improved resistance against dust and water. This feature is designed to offer additional protection in everyday charging conditions.

With the updated Nexus EX+, Ampere aims to strengthen its electric scooter portfolio by combining improved motor performance, connected technology and practical features for daily commuting.
