Apollo Tyres appoints a new Chief Supply Chain Officer

Mr. Parmeshwaran Iyer joins Apollo Tyres to lead global supply chain operations, focusing on digitalization and sustainability.

Gurugram- Apollo Tyres Limited., the Indian multinational tyre manufacturer, has appointed Mr. Parmeshwaran Iyer as its Chief Supply Chain Officer. In this role, he will lead the company’s global supply chain team, focusing on strategic development and optimization. His responsibilities include aligning demand forecasting, production planning, logistics management, and stakeholder coordination with business objectives to enhance operational efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainable growth.

Parmeshwaran joins Apollo Tyres from Beiersdorf AG, where he held key leadership positions across Germany, UAE, Russia, and India. In his most recent role as Global Vice President, Digital Supply Chain, he spearheaded the company’s digital transformation in supply chain operations. Before that, he led the global competency team, focusing on enhancing capabilities in planning, logistics, and customer service, including S&OP, Cost to Serve, and Logistics Excellence.

His tenure at Beiersdorf also included leading regional supply chain operations across 88 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Russia/CIS, and Southwest Asia, including India. Prior to Beiersdorf, he held leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, Total Energies India, and Daikin Airconditioning.

Based at Apollo Tyres’ corporate headquarters in Gurugram, India, Parmeshwaran will report to Neeraj Kanwar.
