Amsterdam, Netherlands- Apollo Tyres (EU) B.V., has launched two new heavy-duty tyres for trucks and trailers, the EnduRace RD HD drive tyre and EnduRace RT HD+ trailer tyre. Both exceed European durability standards by 150% and 170% respectively, offering extended mileage, high grip, and retreading potential to lower whole-life costs. The tyres will debut at the IAA in Hannover, Germany, from 16-22 September.
The EnduRace RD HD is a durable drive tyre for regional and distribution transport, available in three sizes for 22.5-inch rims from October. It features an open-block tread for efficient water displacement, B-rated wet performance, and even pressure distribution for enhanced traction. Certified for all-season use with the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake mark, it also boasts a long-lasting compound, reinforced casing for retreading, and a B-rating for road noise, making it ideal for European haulage.
The EnduRace RT HD+, available in size 385/65 R22.5, is a heavy-duty trailer tyre designed for high-mileage applications. It features wide shoulders and a scrub-resistant compound for uniform wear and durability. With a K speed rating (up to 110 km/h), B-rated wet performance, and an A-rating for road noise, it offers long-lasting, reliable performance, making it ideal for fleet operators handling demanding tasks.
