Chennai –Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai, a manufacturer of commercial vehicles has launched the Boss LE and LX Trucks under BOSS1 range of trucks in the Intermediate Commercial Vehicle (ICV) segment.
As per our investigation, BOSS LE and LX only has change in cabin body for most economic and competitive pricing. The cabin face looks similar to GURU model which was launched by Ashok Leyland earlier.
The Boss ICV range is also available in various body type options: high side deck, fixed side deck, drop side deck, cab chassis, container and tipper. The BOSS platform offers multiple applications including usage for parcel & courier, poultry, white goods, agri-perishable, e-commerce, FMCG, auto parts and reefer, among others.

1BOSS range trucks are powered with 4 cylinder H series CRS with iGen6 Technology with an output of 150hp and a peak torque of 450Nm mated to a six-speed gearbox.
