      Odisha- Ashok Leyland Limited., of the Hinduja Group a commercial vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its Light Commercial Vehicle network in Odisha with the inauguration of a new dealership in Rourkela.

      The new outlet marks Ashok Leyland’s seventh LCV dealership in Odisha and further strengthens the company’s nationwide customer support network, which now includes more than 945 touchpoints across India. The dealership will cater to Ashok Leyland’s LCV portfolio, including BADA DOST, DOST, SAATHI, PARTNER and MiTR.

      The new dealership, operated by channel partner SteelEx India, is located at Brahmani Tarang, Vedvyas, Rourkela. The facility has been developed as a full 3S outlet, offering Sales, Service and Spares under one roof. It is equipped with 12 quick service bays and modern infrastructure designed to deliver faster service turnaround and an enhanced customer experience.

      Mr. Viplav Shah, Head – LCV Business, Ashok Leyland Ltd., said that Odisha remains an important market for the company. He noted that Ashok Leyland’s relationship with customers is built on trust, performance and shared growth, supported by reliable products, strong mileage, robust performance and an extensive service network.

      Ashok Leyland’s LCV range has been developed to meet the evolving requirements of Indian commercial vehicle customers by combining advanced technology with competitive pricing. The company said that more than six lakh Ashok Leyland LCVs are currently operating across India, reflecting its strong presence in the segment.

      The company has also expanded into the sub-2-tonne category with the launch of the Ashok Leyland SAATHI, a premium entry-level small commercial vehicle. Powered by a new-generation 45 hp engine producing 110 Nm of torque, SAATHI offers a large loading area and a payload capacity of 1,120 kg, positioning it as a strong offering in the entry-level SCV market.
